SPECIAL WARM UP SHOWS IN CONTINENTAL EUROPE

After almost a two year absence from the stage, to prepare for the upcoming arena shows with Iron Maiden in early August, DragonForce has scheduled three special small club ‘warm up’ shows in continental Europe at the end of this month.
Starting in Zurich, Switzerland at the Werk 21 Club on Tuesday July 26th, followed by a show at the Kantine in Augsburg, Germany on Thursday 28th and finishing in Rothis, Austria on Friday 29th.

DRAGONFORCE TO KNOCK OUT FESTIVAL

The promoter of the KNOCK OUT FESTIVAL 2011 is proud to announce the addition of DRAGONFORCE, the British high speed sensation of the last couple of years to the festival bill.
The DRAGONFORCE show at the KNOCK OUT FESTIVAL on December 10th 2011 will be the band’s exclusive official show in Germany for 2011. It will offer the first chance to see and hear the band’s new singer Marc Hudson. Together with Hudson the band is currently working on its upcoming fifth studio album to be released in 2012. In Karlsruhe, the band will not only be performing a couple of brand new songs but also their big hits including “Through The Fire And Flames” and “Heroes Of Our Time”. Karlsruhe will also be one of the very few cities worldwide where the band will appear in 2011.
The festival headliner has already been confirmed. It will be Germany’s BLIND GUARDIAN. Already confirmed on the co-headlining slot are SAXON. Also on the bill: the German heavy metal institution GRAVE DIGGER. Two more bands will be announced in the next couple of weeks.

Special ‘Up Close and Personal’ show to take place at NYC’s Gramercy Theatre.
First Los Angeles, then Toronto, and now New York City. The mighty DragonForce announce the last in a trio of special, intimate shows on October 21st at New York’s Gramercy Theater. DragonForce’s return to New York will be their first since 2009, and will give fans and media the unique opportunity to preview the band’s new singer Marc Hudson and whet their appetites for what’s to come with some brand new material from their highly anticipated forthcoming album.
This special show will be the band’s only East Coast appearance in the US before moving to the big stage with full production for their World Tour, which commences early 2012. Tickets are limited to 2 per person and are available Friday June 10th for $20 (plus surcharges) in advance through the link below or $23 (plus surcharges) day of show.

This special show will be the band’s only Canadian appearance before moving to the big stage, with full production for their world tour which commences early 2012.

DRAGONFORCE ANNOUNCES SPECIAL SHOW

A special ‘Up Close and Personal’ show at the Troubadour, Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles, Tuesday October 18th 2011.
DragonForce will return to the US after a two year absence to perform a special one-off intimate show. This will be a unique opportunity for fans and media to preview their new singer Marc Hudson and brand new songs from their highly anticipated forthcoming album, before moving to the big stage with full production on their World Tour which commences early 2012.
Being the only show in western North America this year, tickets will be strictly limited to two per person and only be available through the Troubadour box office and web-site. Tickets goes on sale 5/13/2011 at 1pm PST. This is an all ages show with tickets priced at $22 advance, $25 day of the show. Doors open at 6.30pm, guest artists to be announced.

DragonForce guitarist Herman Li and drummer Dave Mackintosh will return to China for a guitar and drum clinic tour with special dates added in Indonesia and India. At each clinic, Herman and Dave will be performing a number of DragonForce tracks, answering questions from fans and demonstrating techniques followed by an autograph/photo session.
There has been overwhelming demand for DragonForce to return to China since their sold out Beijing show in 2009. The clinic tour is sponsored by Ibanez guitars and Tama drums, with Herman kicking it off in Kunming in southern China, making its way north and back finishing in Guangzhou. Dave’s drum clinics will start two days earlier in Indonesia before joining Herman in Chengdu China, pairing up for the rest of the Chinese tour.
Apart from individual dates, Herman and Dave will also be performing at the PALM Expo 2011, China’s largest and most established event for music and technology, the 2nd largest event of its kind in the world. After China, Herman will complete the tour on his own with his first-ever appearances in India.
DragonForce will be one of the first international bands to do a full scale clinic tour in China.
Herman Li says, “We are really excited to be touring in China. We had an amazing time two years ago and really appreciate the loyal support from so many fans and friends there. It’s gonna be a blast, we can’t wait to get out there!”
